For Darryl, every day is different. You may find him taking care of important clients, organising crews for contract works, and talking to the foremen and workers to sort out any issues that arise. He enjoys the variety of work and having the knowledge to complete jobs on time and within budget. Darryl places great value on hard work and excellent service, doing it once and doing it right. Outside of work, he enjoys growing flowers for table displays, hunting, deer stalking, building, and home renovations.
Meet Ming, the undisputed guardian of our company's coffee stocks, un-named PPE, and the staff perks stash. While our founder's big heart would have given the entire business away for a good cause, Ming is the reason we actually have a business to give from. She is the pragmatic yin to our charitable yang, if Ming hadn't been holding the purse strings since day one, this company would just be a beautifully intentioned, non-profit group hug.
Papa's philosophy was "help everyone!" Ming's philosophy is "help everyone... after we've paid the bills." Her rule is simple and non-negotiable: if it has a company asset tag, it has a rental fee. No exceptions. Not for you, not for your cousin, not for the Queen. She is the reason "pro bono" is a sometimes-treat and not our entire business model, and the reason why we're all still here, employed and thriving. She's not just our Director; she's our reality check, and we love her for it.
A typical day at work for Bernard is always busy with a variety of responsibilities, allowing him to use multiple skills gained from over 40 years of experience on the job. He enjoys using his problem-solving abilities to deal with challenges and is known for his common sense, reliability, and cleverness. Bernard was raised to believe that it's hard work that makes everything happen, and delivering quality workmanship and seeing the end product of hard work is what makes him happy.

A verification assessment conducted 24/04/2025 as part of the Totika certification verifies Tatana Contracting Ltd, has demonstrated its understanding of occupational health and safety systems and practices within its business, covering the core elements of the Totika OHS management system framework requirement. It has achieved a Cat-2 " Performing " status in this assessment.
The Totika platform has been established to support industry with a common pre qualification standard which brings different member schemes together under a common umbrella which is more cost effective and efficient for everyone.
